Astander is proud to announce the TWINGATE project, which aims to create a digital twin of the shipyard’s dry dock gate. INNOVA 2022, project funded by Gobierno de Catabria and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER)
The TWINGATE project, with funding of €14,671.52, is co-financed by the FEDER operational program of Cantabria 2014-2020. This initiative is part of the INNOVA 2022 grants, promoted by the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Innovation, and Commerce of the Government of Cantabria.
This project focuses on developing a numerical model and a data acquisition system to monitor the gate of dry dock 1.
Objectives:
- Update the state of the art of monitoring solutions for the naval environment.
- Select and integrate sensors into the dry dock gate.
- Develop a digital twin through a numerical model and advanced algorithms.
- Conduct tests and validate the system.
This project includes upgrading monitoring technologies, integrating sensors, creating a digital twin with advanced algorithms and validating the system through extensive testing.
