Astander’s objective is to design and build a functional prototype of a system for access to large boats from the dock, which will significantly improve current systems and increase current safety levels. The access system must be capable of compensating for the following movements of the vessel: “heave” (vertical oscillation), “surge” (longitudinal oscillation) and “yaw” (yaw) (Z, X and GZ), permanently maintaining a suitable inclination for operator access
