
ASTANDER has successfully completed a cybersecurity improvement project supported through the CIBERREG programme, an initiative promoted by SODERCAN within the RETECH framework to enhance cybersecurity across regional businesses and strengthen their digital resilience.
The project has enabled the shipyard to reinforce the protection of its digital infrastructure, operational systems and business-critical information through the implementation of advanced cybersecurity measures. Actions carried out include improvements in network security, endpoint protection, secure remote access, threat monitoring and incident detection capabilities, contributing to a safer and more resilient digital environment.
Beyond the technological improvements implemented, the initiative has also contributed to increasing cybersecurity awareness within the organisation and to strengthening information security management practices, supporting ASTANDER’s ongoing commitment to digitalisation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly important priority for the maritime industry, where greater connectivity and digitalisation require robust protection of operational technologies, corporate systems and strategic data. Through this project, ASTANDER continues to strengthen its ability to operate securely while supporting the digital transformation of the shipyard.
