THRUSTERS PITS

Aft: 21.5 x 7 x 1,5m

Fwd: 15 x 10.5 x 1,5m

Aft: 21.5 x 7 x 1,5 m

This pit enables the yard to deal with the requirements from vessels when they need to overhaul / remove azimuthal propellers, gaining additional free space under the bottom line. This solution allows distances from 3 to 4.5 m. The pit makes the removal easier and more economical than the usual double docking bed. In addition, many shipyards cannot dock vessels with deep drafts and thrusters to be dismounted.
ASTANDER will ensure availability for these repairs without such restrictions and capability to overhaul any kind of propulsion equipment.
